The reason I ask people not to pray for me:
I find it unsettling and creepy that someone is chanting my name to his-/herself at night.
Pray to end abortion.
No, seriously. Please pray. It’s literally the least you can do, and it is the thing that will most benefit people faced with the decision of whether or not to terminate their pregnancy. In your home or your church, close your eyes and pray silently for abortion to end.
But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you. Matthew 6:6
So please, go. Shut the door behind you and pray.
Leave the doctoring to the doctors and the choice-making to the people whose bodies those choices will affect. You get to control one body, and one body only: yours.
So pray as hard as you can. Just leave the rest of us alone.
No it’s not because they also believe God created them, but they know that murderers didn’t. Bad analogy.
I guess the sickest part of this response is that some people believe a magical ghost in the sky not only created people, but has the right to kill them if he wants to and deserves to be thanked for not killing others on a whim. Why do people worship such dick gods?
