Someone said to me, ‘Wait til you get some money and you’ll become a Republican.’ And like, that was some of the most insulting shit, where it’s like, so you’re saying that when I get money I’m just going to sell out everything I ever believed in? I’m sure there are people who do it, but Jesus Christ, man, how can you be so shallow to say that and be okay that that came out of your mouth?

“An Egyptian student has created a Facebook page to launch an appeal to men: post photos of yourselves wearing the Islamic veil. This young woman believes it is unjust that a dress code is imposed only on women…Dozens of Egyptian men have already responded to the call since the initiative’s launch on November 1. Some internet users have even suggested transforming this project into a peaceful demonstration in Cairo’s famous Tahrir Square.”

Egyptian women seem to be among the most badass of women. Kudos to them and their male counterparts who are unwilling to give up the struggle for equality and freedom, even when faced with hostility and outright violence. It’s awesome to see.

Hey, apologists: look at this.

Look at Herman Cain’s campaign response to multiple sexual harassment claims. Look  at the recent scandal at Penn State, which has been focused more on the career of a man than on the victims of horrible sexual abuse. Look  at  what  happens  to  every  person  who  brings  public  attention  to  the  fact that he or she has been sexually harassed or abused in this country. Now go look up the terms “victim blaming” and “rape culture” and tell me we don’t need feminism.

How do you know if a girl is a slut?
She says, “No on Amendment 26.

(via badp)

Are you fucking kidding me?
That has to be one of the most asinine things I’ve ever read.
Way to show off what a douchebag you are by slut shaming and being obviously anti-choice.

Well, guess what?

60% for no, 40% for yes.  So far. :)

SLUTS ALL AROUND! SLUTS FOR CHOICE! SLUTS! SLUTS! SLUTS!

Down with 26 in Mississippi, says this SLUT.

(via keepyourboehneroutofmyuterus)

I’m going to start a new political party.

Sane Ladies (and Non-Ladies) United for Truth. SLUT Party 2012!

Arise, SLUTs of America! Go forth, and fear no slut-shaming! Arise! Arise, Riders of Penises (and Vaginas, and Dildos, and Other Such Pleasurable Devices)! Spears (of righteousness) shall be shaken, shields (of bigotry) shall be splintered! A sword day… a red day… ere the sun rises!

A bill was just passed to allow bullying of any kind in Michigan.  The bill just passed states that bullying is non punishable by law if it is shown that the bully has a strong moral conviction.  This exempts bullying on basis of ANYTHING, at all, race, gender, sexuality, religion, disability, ANYTHING at all, is not only allowed but basically encouraged.  Please spread this around, its sickening, why is this allowed in today’s society.

This is disgusting.

:/ Whaaaaaaat??!!

Wow… I’m so glad I don’t live in Michigan.

ISN’T EVERYONE GLAD THEY DON’T LIVE IN MICHIGAN?! Oh wait………

Good thing I have a strong moral conviction against bullies and Michigan state-level politicians. But seriously…wtf.

So what’s it going to take, Republicans? What the FUCK is it going to take to get you to care more about actual people than your antiquated, misguided prejudices? What the FUCK do we have to do to get you to give a shit about anyone who isn’t you? How many more have to bleed, cry, lose everything, fucking die before you stop puffing on the flames of your silly, self-imposed sense of victimization and pull your heads out of your smug, self-important asses long enough to see that there are real people who suffer the consequences of your fears-your hysterical, irrational fears of slipping from the STRAIGHT WHITE PROTESTANT MALE THRONE OF AMURIKAN KINGS? These are children, motherfuckers. Children who depend on you to protect them. Children who look to you when forming their ideas of right and wrong, of justice and compassion. You’re failing them. Not only that, you’re actively harming them. You’re sending a message that hating others is not only okay, but that it’s expected and righteous when presented under the guise of religion.  That hate speech is protected speech. In fact, it’s constitutional to hate people.  The blood and tears that will inevitably be spilled by the passage of this bill are directly on your hands, motherfuckers. I wonder if your precious religious beliefs—the ones that now legally allow Michigan bullies to destroy another human being— will find a way to help you forget that your actions will cause harm. You’d better hope so. Because the people whose lives are irrevocably harmed by bullying violence sure as hell won’t. And history won’t either.

Dear Republican Educators:

It’s YOUR GODDAMN PARTY that’s encouraging all this teacher-hate. “Oh, the unions are evil! The teachers make too much money! Education is for the snotty elite! My ignorant assumption is just as valuable as your educated conclusion! Let’s invite God into our Science classrooms!” FUCKING STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT IT AND DO SOMETHING TO CHANGE YOUR PARTY’S VIEWS, MOTHERFUCKERS.

Shooting yourself in the foot: Republicans voters’ specialty. Also, IT’S THE SECOND AMENDMENT RAWWWWRRRRR!
